1. till 8. Day

 

Arrival to the international airport in Agadir. Meeting with the manager of the "Bio Discovering" hotel and transfer to the hotel. Introduction to the philosophy of the hotel and his functionality. This unique hotel project is established in a protected area. With his welcoming, his original working methods and his innovative accommodations, the hotel demonstrates you an alternative to the tourism industry. You will live in typical Berber's tents with all comfort. The tent camp is only five minutes' walking distance away from the most gorgeous beaches of the area.

Day 2:

Today you make a trekking tour to the fishing village of Tifnit. It is the most important desert landing point on the coast of the park in the Tifnit bay. Here you can meet people, observe traditional fishing technologies and discover the cultural inheritance and the local art products.

Day 3:

Free day for relaxing on the beach, because the treks are quite strenuous. Recharge your batteries, while simply absorbing the sweepingly beautiful vistas of Souss Massa. If the weather conditions admits it (rather in summer) you can do scuba diving, taking surf lessons (many good places in the area), or simply lazing on the beach.

Day 4:

All-day trekking along the coastal region of  Tifnit. In Sidi R'Bat you will be highly surprised about what you will found in cultural and historical treasures. It is an area where you have the chance to watch the last populations of the Ibis chauves in different sceneries of the park. You will see the magic of the nature which develops in front of your eyes.

Day 5:

In the morning you board a minivan which brings you during a 45-minute cross-country journey to the bio-farmers of Morocco. There you can visit the substantial local bio-production, you may try the products on the way home to the hotel.

In the afternoon you will visit a family which produces Argan oil. The Argan oil is obtained from the seeds of the iron wood tree (Argania spinosa) which is endemic in Morocco. It is estimated because of his nutritious, cosmetic and numerous medical qualities. Once northern Africa was covered with the Argania tree. In the meantime it is threatened with extinction and stands under the protection of UNESCO.

Day 6:

Fishing and relaxing in the camp. Discover the modern technologies for the protection of the environment. Learn how to build a solar oven or a traditional Moroccan house.

Day 7:

Visit the traditional Souk (market quarter in an Arabian town) where you can discover the local art craft and its products (tanner, potters, etc.).

Day 8:

Breakfast and transfer to the airport in Agadir

Other discovery tours:

Excursions to the nesting places of the Ibises in February and March also worldwide. All excursions are directed by the manager of the Kaïma hotels in English and French.
